For the normal fans, yes. For people of this forum, no. Agendapiece guys will always manage to twist it to slander him lmao. Whitebeard is lucky the internet wasn't as popular back then because he'd be getting slandered too. People here despise Shanks so obviously they will slander him. His portrayal and feats are so wanked by the author yet these clowns create headcanon things like rat and him jumping Loki to slander him and it gets likes due to the hivemind. Even if he's wanked, these clowns will only spam the death panel

The slander on his death will be another level + I will genuinely be hurt by it too even outside of the slander. I survived a long time when Shanks had no feats until wifi haki, I survived 1058 chapter and I survived all the rat theories arguing against all of it but his death will be the final straw

But I'm glad this will always remain a hypothetical since he isn't dying

I don't care about slander from those twerking dogs. Shanks has owned their agenda since 2010 and has embarrassed every admiral apart from the one who decided to leave the admiral position for a Yonko underling position. They're clowns just expressing frustration for being tortured by Shanks for 15 years

I only care about slander from Zolo fans since they're actually fans of Shanks' rival + not as stupid. Their hate is genuine unlike twerkers who only hate due to being owned by Shanks

If he dies during the final battle or at the very end then that’s a different thing

But if he were to die in Elbaf or smthn (would never happen but let’s just say it did) I’d probably never read another chapter

Now if some of my other non MC favorites died like Law or Sanji I’d be miffed but it wouldn’t bother me enough for me to drop OP entirely

If he does die, I hope he gets a Whitebeard-tier death. Well given he's odas self insert/pet, I'm sure he will ofc but that's if Oda would actually kill him off too.

I've always pictured his death being like Jiraiyas too but Garp on Beehive seemed like the perfect setup for that and yet he's obviously still alive too, despite Oda setting up a somewhat amazing final stand for Garp there too.
