plus there is the fact zoro and sanjis opponents tend to be connected in some way with a rivalry/antagonism of their own. like king and queen , jabura and kaku, mr 1 and mr 2 ( or a neat connection shamrock and fully grown s hawk looking just shanks and mihawk but not being them ( and you could say they would be superior versions of them in strength( shamrock without his powes would be stronger then 2 armed shanks)
sanji and shanks have alot of parallels they are both the opposite to their respective families in terms of ideals etc and the rival to a WSS though zoro is the future WSS in sanjis case.

( Imean its why I bring up lafitte vs sanji a while ago and one of the reasons is that lafitte is the 5th captain while shilew is the 2nd captain which pairs with sanji as 5th strawhat and zoro as the 2nd which is a neat connection for them)
would also be a neat connection not to mention saniji has a 3 motif the 3rd son his fiance had 3 eyes and his rival has 3 swords) ( shamrock has a cerberus sword which has 3 heads which can turn into 3 blades

(its annoying how zorostans get upset if you bring up zoro and sanjis connection when making up theories
they refuse to accept zoro and sanji are relative they are rivals no amount of overhyping zoro ( zoro for a second blocked the combined yonko attack while using his swords and barely survived and he gave kaido a tiny scar using his best attack coated in adv coc and in the end he needed a regen drug to fight king none of those feats put him way above sanji ) and downplaying sanji nad his opponents ( sanji low to mid diffed queen after solving his mental crisis him passing out due to what sanji did to counter his invisibility doesnt change that )
changes that fact ( like going but bite diff or he got kicked by kizaru or he didnt get a full fight none of which refutes the fact zoro and sanji are always close in strnegth with zoro emphasizing ap sanji emphasizing speed and mobility ( their moments against ethan are equal)
alongside making up standards like claiming you need to want to be strongest of something or have a dream focused on strength to be top tier ignoring whitebeard etc
