Powers & Abilities IMU Has the Bake Bake no Mi

#1
I believe Oda introduced Sugar’s DF the Hobi Hobi no Mi to set a precedent for the idea that transforming someone into something unnatural could lead to the world forgetting them. Bake is part of the word Bakemono which means demon or monster in Japan. The Bake Bake fruit would have the ability to transform people into monsters that the user could command, and in the process make the world forget them.

IMU used this power on many notable people in the ancient kingdom making everyone forget them and turning them into the enemies, the way Doflamingo used Sugar’s power against the Riku family to take over Dressrosa. I think Zunesha and the Seakings are examples of this, and only special individuals like Shirahoshi and Momosuke can interfere somehow with IMU’s power.

The Gorosei are also likely victims of IMU’s power, but rather then IMU transforming a single individual he combined multiple individuals to create the Gorosei and make them seemingly immortal. Sugar did this when she made her giant Nutcracker soldiers.

Because they had multiple lives or souls this allowed them to take fatal damage and easily recover. The Gorosei are probably an extreme version of this where they are combinations of an excessively large amount of individuals making it so they have to be killed dozens or hundreds of times to be defeated.

Sugar also turned to a toy herself and became immortal. IMU probably can also transform himself into a variety of monsters.

One other thing I’ll add is that Oda is probably setting up the association with Celestials and Dragons, because IMU will transform them all into Dragon monsters as his final line of defense in the final war.

I can see this happen.
Although, instead of the Monster Monster No Mi, it'd be more fitting for Imu to have the Akumu fruit.
Both Luffy and BB represent dreams, albeit different sides of them.
Thus, Imu should have the Nightmare Nightmare, turning people into what they subconsciously fear most. It also ties in to Enel's definition of god = fear

Good idea too, I think both are possible and this comes more down to the theme of the DF than the ability. The theme Monster Monster is just a guess the ability of the fruit to turn people into monsters and make others forget them is more the theory.
