So, in Gunko's brief flashback, the weirdest thing is that it seems she's... REMEMBERING things she's forgotten
"What... What is this memory?"
"Brook? Are you Brook?"
This HEAVILY implies Gunko has had her memories tampered with, and, based on all the context clues we have, the number one suspect for doing so is Imu-sama themselves.
Well, what does this matter for Jarul?
Jarul IS the sole source of information regarding Loki's imprisonment, as far as we know.
Harald and all the Guards were killed. The two survivors were Loki, and Jarul.
If Shanks and Gyaban pulled up to find everyone but Jarul and Loki dead, and Jarul with a sword stuck in his head, and Jarul, a National Hero, and beloved family man, of Elbaph, says Loki did it... who are you gonna listen to???
Imu possessed Harald (possible Harald got a WG tattoo upon visting Marijoa), and, after the destruction was done, Imu altered Jarul's memories to blame everything on Loki.
Shanks understandably tracked Loki down, but, also had his doubts, hence why Shanks visited Loki recently: IMO, Shanks knows Loki didn't do it, but knows if he lets Loki out, Loki will trigger a war with the WG, so, for peacekeeping purposes, like with Marineford, Shanks is keeping Loki locked up until someone can deal with him (IE Luffy).
Jarul seeing Imu possess Gunko could/should trigger Jarul's true memories of Harald being possessed by Imu, and Loki saving Elbaph by choosing to kill his own father.
Since Loki loved Harald, and Loki knew he couldn't prove Harald was possessed, Loki accepted the lie that he had killed everyone, because the alternate was Elbaph believing Harald had slaughtered his own men.
Knowing Domi Reversi's function, Imu-Harald probably turned the other soldiers into monsters, too.
Loki became the "villain" of Elbaph, so the deaths of the soldiers slaughtered by Harald would be blamed on Loki. IE, Loki was protecting his father's legacy.
Kuma being on this island interests me, too, since his Fruit can produce Memory Bubbles allowing people to share their memories with others.
Gunko/Jarul's memories of the past might very well be uncovered by the Paws of Bartholomew Kuma.
Either way, it's really looking like Imu can alter memory, which is VERY dangerous, look at what Pudding was pulling in Whole Cake with that power.
