Speculations Imu is a Figarland

Given the reveal that Imu is one of the 20 kings, my guess is that he’s from the Figarland family.

This is why Shanks is allowed to speak to the gorosei directly.

Due to Shanks being from Imu’s clan, the gorosei gave him special treatment whereas other ex-CDs like Homing were cast out.

its possible but also it could be possible that Figarland family is high ranking amongst CDs
in manga it was said that 5 Elders are highest ranking CDs if holy knights are also CDs and they probably are higher rank than normal CDs but lower than 5 Elders (its just my head canon)

Imu is most likely Nerona who was used Ope immortality.
