We saw what Akainu and BB are capable of before the timeskip, but Imu showing his powers like 2 or 3 arcs before endgame somehow rules him out as the final villain? 
I remember reading another weird reason cited to jusitfy the idea of him not being final villain material because of something that happened a couple of chapters ago, but it was so random that I can't remember the justification. It's like everything Imu does is used as an excuse to claim he can't be the final villain when everything points to the contrary.

- There’s the kids & clones of the originals working with Luffy (WB, Big Mom, Kaido, Gloriosa, Stussy = Marco/Weevil, Katakuri, Yamato, Hancock, Stussy clone)
- Rocks had multiple conquerors Haki users just as Luffy will have. Bb has none.
The one that several races have been praying for for centuries to deliver them from the WG is Luffy, not BB.
Whether it’s the Lunarians who faced genocide & abuse, the Buccaneers who were told they were born to be slaves, the Giants that idolized Nika, or the Minks living on Zunesha who has waited 800 years.
I really don’t know how anyone could tell themselves to believe different at this point.
What on earth would be the point of BB taking over for a couple of hours after 800 years right before the dawn?
