What if Imu= Lili

Now we know that Lili mysteriously vanished 800 years ago but we don't know the exact time imu came into the picture

Even when we see flashbacks of 800 years ago we never see a shadowy figure that looks like imu

What if on her way back to Alabasta the 20 kings or the gorosei

Kidnapped her

What if the former user of Puddings fruit used their power to alter her memories or maybe even erased them completely

Lili may be alive somewhere deep inside Imu

Unlikely but seemed interesting enough to share

We know IMU was name of one of the founding member.

Then, we also know IMU keeps on looking at Vivi's or Lili's picture - sense of wanting her. Not possible when Lili is within IMu

So, neither she's with him nor IMU is Lili.


We also have Vivi and Lily with similar looks. Doubt oda will pull two people across generations to have same looks being alive at the same time

So, my bet is IMU killed her for her betrayal

Then, we also know IMU keeps on looking at Vivi's or Lili's picture - sense of wanting her. Not possible when Lili is within IMu

What if it's like the Lili within kinda being reminded like that thought in the back of your mind you usual ignore

And if her memories got altered they could say her name is whatever they want it to be

The original Nerona Imu may have died

Too much reading Seinen/tragedy manga got me thinking this one scenario
- Nerona Imu is a he, and Lily is his love interest, But Lily doesn't like him but Joyboy
- Someone close and a dear loyal servant to Imu had Ope-Ope no mi ( for now refer as that guy )
- Imu Accidentally killed Lily because of reasons
- Begging that Guy to do Personality Change Surgeries to become "One" with Lily ( still gonna be a plot hole if its didn't explained since we didn't knew if its capable to do it to Dead people, but still its called "Ultimate Devil Fruit" for a reason so everything is possible, also its not changing personality imo its changing souls )
- And That guy learns that he can grant Imu an immortal body on Lily's Body in exchange of him dying
- And Now Imu is in Lily's body, with having her portrait on Room of Flowers to reminiscing Lily
