Salah has some good takes, and he analyzes the series.

Blah is just projecting what he likes IRL into OP. Which can be a way of enjoying the series beyond what its author is trying to say, but fucking hell, stop with the dumb spamming of the same parroted line over and over again.

Not every piece of disagreement is hate. If I were a hater I'd tell you where to go, instead of trying to show you your own inconsistencies, which, as it turns out, you still can't see.

Never mind, then.
But don't expect Luffy to not be able to do what JB did; if anything, Luffy will succeed at everything JB did, and at everything he didn't. EOS Luffy will leave JB in the dust, achievements-wise.

Nika is inspired by sun gods from real-world mythology, particularly the Brazilian sun god Meri from the Bororó people, and is also tied to the Elbaf mythology in One Piece. Joy Boy's inspiration is less clear but theories suggest he is linked to the myth of a "Joy Boy" character from West Indian folklore who uses drums and fights for freedom.

brazilian sun god would also fit since luffy would be brazilian irl, right?

and since nika in greek means he conquers that might as well just be a reference to CoC

The thing is this:

Nika looks exactly like Jesus Christ does, even the two-edged sword that comes out of his mouth, if Nika's sword came out of his mouth, he would be holding it the same way he holds it in that panel, and is worshipped by a character we see with a Bible and a church

Imu also has countless devil parallels



Nika and Imu are copy pastes of Jesus and the devil
