The last main villains left
(Kizaru & Akainu may be like Katakuri but they won't be the top 2 Main Villains of the Saga)

This final saga revolved around these 2 just like last Saga was all about Linlin and Kaido since NW started!
  • Pekoms and Tamago at fishman Island and BM got introduced
  • We get to learn about Kaido & Beast Pirates at PH from Law & Caesar (who was a partner of Kaido)
  • DR was about beating Doffy to piss off Kaido
  • Kaido introduced dropping down to Kidd's base
  • Jack invading Zou, BMP taking Sanji away. We learn about Linlin & Kaido having RPS.
  • And then came WCI & Wano, Yonko Saga
Every arc since fishman Island led us to WCi & finally to Wano where both Emperod fell.
Oda was making BMP and Beast Pirates move around, alliance encountering them one way or another before Wano showdown.

Same thing happening here.
Since Reverie, Oda been building WG & Teach as final enemies
We see how Oda hyping them as final threats as they are both making moves now more than they ever did.

BBP :
  • Teach going to Amazon and kidnapping Coby
  • Kuzan at Tottoland and kidnapped Pudding
  • Teach & his 3 men defeating Heart Pirates
  • Lafitte +? coming to Egghead
  • Kuzan facing Garp right now at Beehive
IMu & his goons :
  • Talking about lights to erase
  • Sabo & Revo fighting Admirals
  • Imu nuking Lulusia
  • Saturn & Kizaru off to Egghead
Right now Sabo is about to spill the beans about reverie incidents while Lafitte will encounter SHs and probably kidnap

Admirals & Gorosei are the commanders of this Saga where their defeats won't be as hard and impacful as that of Imu & Teach.
Kizaru & Akainu will be either Cracker and Katakuri for Luffy to beat or Katakuri & Linlin for Luffy & Sabo to beat . Fuji and GB will be King and Queen for Wings.

Imu and Teach are the only Main villains of this. Luffy's biggets fights left!

Kaido : Imu
BM : Teach
Katakuri : Akainu/ Kizaru
Cracker : Kizaru
King & Queen : Fuji & GB
Jack & Perospero : Gorosei

It will be two grand battles:
1. Against Teach as true Luffy's rival;

2. Imu - as true final boss of series, enemy of all D. Clan, King of WG

Since Oda keeps repeating OP is ending in 3 years or so it just has to mean there won't be an individual arc for both Blackbeard and Imu, but it will all go down together. I'm pretty sure that's why we have been told Blackbeard is trying to become a WG king - he will be allied with Imu and when Luffy defeats them / it / whatever, Blackbeard will steal Imu's power in a true pirate fashion and becomes the final obstacle.
