I think people going nuts over a potential Luffy vs 5 Gorosei are missing the part where it’s very likely that Imu can defeat all 5 Gorosei together
Why is this likely? Because that’s how the villains always are. Kaido can solo his crew. Big mom can solo her crew. Doffy can solo his crew. Crocodile could solo baroque works. Moria could solo his crew (with shadows Asgard). Hody could solo his crew (post steroids). Arlong could solo his crews. Enel can solo his priests
The only time it’s debatable if the villain can do this is if the villain isn’t even the real leader of the crew. Caeser was just a Doffy stooge hence why Vergo was stronger than him. Lucci was technically Spandam’s henchman. Katakuri is Big mom’s bitch.
It’s entirely possible Imu can solo the Gorosei + the Holy knights combined.
So current Luffy being able to either extreme diff the Gorosei combined or at least put up a VERY GOOD performance isn’t that out of pocket.
And people who have a problem with this outcome because it says something about the gap between Luffy and his crew, it’s time to start considering that EoS Luffy will stronger than HIS ENTIRE CREW COMBINED… as in EoS Luffy > EoS Strawhats + EoS Grand fleet + EoS honorary strawhats like Momo and Yamato…
Does this seem ridiculous? It shouldn’t be. Oda has to give a reason why Luffy is the man who will save the world… It has to be very obvious why NO ONE ELSE for 800 years could do it.
As in if the combined strawhats could be capable to equaling Luffy, then why wouldn’t the combined strawhats save the world instead of Luffy? Why in the last 800 years hasn’t there been a group or an individual that saved the world? Why didn’t Joyboy himself 800 years ago save the world?… well he ain’t Luffy… Oda has to make it EXTREMELY CLEAR that ONLY LUFFY can do this.
So Luffy will be Top 1 to have ever lived in the OP universe because only Luffy can save the world. It’s destiny, baby.
