The Iron Giant in the last chapter showed up at the same time when it was first introduced by Vegapunk in the anime so this made me think Imu will be revealed at the same time when “Death of Nefertari” episode comes out for hype reasons.
Luffy vs Lucci episode will come out next week which means that episode is about 4-5 months away (CH1169 - CH1185 = 16 = 4-5 months).
I don’t think Imu will be revealed when his name gets broadcasted to the world. It will show him in a pissed mood in his silhouette form. Either that or the Egghead fight will keep dragging on, flashbacks from 200 years ago, switching to Cross Guild and BB-Sword chapters, couple of breaks and back to Egghead until the Death of Nefertari episode comes out.
