Imu can switch bodies and I suspect we will see him use several bodies to face Luffy.
One in particular I think he will use is Koby’s. Why? Koby is the marine hero. Teach himself thought his fame was enough to sway the WG and that was before the hachinosu incident.
What better puppet to use to bring down Luffy than the most beloved marine of the current era?
Furthermore, Koby is Luffy’s friend. What better way to torture Luffy than to use his own friend against him?
Ultimately as Garp’s successor, there will likely be legends of Koby fighting Luffy. Imu will probably be the source of this. Turning Koby into a demon and likely ultimately controlling him against Luffy.
This will probably be used as a stalling tactic in the final war. A way to keep Luffy away from Imu’s true/strongest body. It will probably be similar to Luffy vs Bellamy.
