So I just watched episode 1119 and this gave me an idea. Imu’s devil fruit is a mythical fruit called the Void Fruit. I feel like this would make sense because her entire silhouet is black and her transformation is also very dark and it ”ate” king cobra, possibly sending him to the void, which is Imu, this would also tie into the void century, how it as erased from history. Imu must’ve eaten the entire history of it. Imu is also a parasite with a devil fruit, that’s all she is, her voice is very shadowy and corrupted plus ahe seems corrupted, like a parasite or alien speaking. The parasite that is Imu took Nefitari Lily’s body and made people think that she betrayed everyone by using her body, basically committing crimes with her body and ascending to the top of the government in the process. Also the gorosei are like mini parasites, Imu is the Mother of the parasites, the “queen”. It’s like the gibdo in Tears of the kingdom but a way higher scale. If you don’t know the gibdo are a species of undead creatures who can’t get hurt that much besides with elements, the queen gibdo is the strongest of these species. On the other hand the gorosei are seemingly unkillable, with seemingly extreme amounts of power.
