So I just watched episode 1119 and this gave me an idea. Imu’s devil fruit is a mythical fruit called the Void Fruit. I feel like this would make sense because her entire silhouet is black and her transformation is also very dark and it ”ate” king cobra, possibly sending him to the void, which is Imu, this would also tie into the void century, how it as erased from history. Imu must’ve eaten the entire history of it. Imu is also a parasite with a devil fruit, that’s all she is, her voice is very shadowy and corrupted plus ahe seems corrupted, like a parasite or alien speaking. The parasite that is Imu took Nefitari Lily’s body and made people think that she betrayed everyone by using her body, basically committing crimes with her body and ascending to the top of the government in the process. Also the gorosei are like mini parasites, Imu is the Mother of the parasites, the “queen”. It’s like the gibdo in Tears of the kingdom but a way higher scale. If you don’t know the gibdo are a species of undead creatures who can’t get hurt that much besides with elements, the queen gibdo is the strongest of these species. On the other hand the gorosei are seemingly unkillable, with seemingly extreme amounts of power.

(Don’t judge too harshly, I’m an anime only with basic manga knowledge)

Imu could probably be the Florian Triangle/Sea Behemoths


Or Imu could be Medjed

Except it wouldn't, mostly for 2 reasons:
1. Oda doesn't give female characters any importance with only a few exceptions. The male to female ratio is hella freaking big. Only females that somewhat matter are like, Robin and that's it?
2. Oda won't have Luffy actively beat the shit out of a pretty female unless Oda makes a Big Mom 2.0 (where basically no one sees her as a female)

I also said imu is like a parasite, but I still think she's a girl, or at least possessed Lily

Anyway Here's how I want the last few scenes to go down: I want imu x JoyBoy where JoyBoy takes over luffy permanently and imu takes over Robin and the scene ends with imu and JoyBoy continuing to fight for eternity but we see the past reflections of each other, fighting but we also see their 800 years ago selves of Lily and JoyBoy loving each other but since they ate the devil fruits it slowly dragged them to the Eternal Clash.

At the end though, before luffy dies he wishes for a redo, but right before that happens buggy stabs his flag at laughtale, finally being the king of the pirates, then that dissapears and we go back to the first scene.
