Future Events Is Admirals getting Domi Reversed inevitable?

As of now, unless your name is Luffy or Loki, there exists no counter against getting Domi reversed, so it begs the questions why Imu wouldn't use it in the final confrontation?

Imu has every reason to keep his pawns in check and to make sure he's going to be the winner. Greenbull would gladly be used a his personal slave anyway, it would stop Fujitora from leaving and Akainu and Kizaru from disobeying his orders.

However, not sure how would Oda pull that of without massively powercreeping characters on the allys side.

So, do you think Oda will chicken out or just go ape shit, with the new gen ending up completely declassing the mid and old gen?​

I would be personally surprised, DR so far seems more a plot mechanic by oda than a power up for its main purpose.

Imu DRing admirals would only be if they challange imu and he needs to personally intervene, which i dont see it play it out

In a scenario like GB where he would be his ally he would more likely receive a contract

I hope not. What I'd like from Admirals are all out fights, more haki usage and logia awakenings. DR would get in the way of that imo.

Their current level fodder class vs main fighting power EoS. Just look at what happened to Loki and Luffy.

With just Haki and DF, we know Yonkou/Admiral are peak they can hit. Nor admirals are abnormal like Blackbeard or Luffy.

So DR would work perfectly.

DR is honestly meh to me whereas logia awakening could be interesting and serve as mega powerup.

Plus tbh I'm not satisfied with any Admiral fight so far. EH was their last showing and Oda clearly cared more about their emotional conflict than their actual fighting.

Even if they aren't on the god tier, I want to see the Admirals get proper no-holds barred onscreen fights first instead of the blueballing we've had so far.

DR will almost certainly involve more mental conflict so that's a no-go for me...unless Oda does something REALLY good somehow.

And we have zero logia awakening so far, it sounds interesting but my guess always been Logia fruit doesn't have awakening because they are already strong. Most likely already awakened state.

Yeah this is my biggest fear about LA, that Oda might skip the Admirals and give it to some new gen member like Grus instead.

I doubt that tbf, MZs are arguably stronger and have awakenings too. I do think it's entirely possible that Oda might forget it unfortunately though.

Honestly that just makes it even lamer. I'm tired of halfhearted fights as is, I'd rather the Admirals fight of their own volition instead of DR.

Yes, making them into slaves wouldn't make sence. But Green Bull and Akainu can give up on their souls. So Akaiunu will turn into Surtr: Magma Giant from Ragnarok Legend. And Green Bull will became Dead Forest, of something like that.
