Injured Zoro, knocked out Luffy for a few seconds, dodged both Zoro and X Drake's attack, blocked both Zoro and hybrid X Drake's attack, got back up after Zoro defeated him, and then got back up again and continued fighting after X Drake attacked him.
Zoro defeating Apoo didn't ruin Apoo's hype, as Apoo still managed to quickly get back up and continue fighting X Drake and the others. You are pretty much ignoring the stuff Apoo has done during this war, his hype isn't false and just because you don't like his character doesn't mean the stuff he did can be ignored.

He technically has been the biggest failure of the supernova's at this point, losing the antidote to the enemy, if we're comparing accomplishments.

But they arent worse than Hotei and company talk about the biggest fake hype ever
1. Because I can totally see Oda giving the one beast pirate who’s not a zoan to the only zoan on the crew
2. Choppers already in monster Form so his matchup needs to be on that floor already or he doesn’t get one
3. Apoos been trying to kill him the whole time the roof fights been going on
4. I can see Queen giving Apoo a deal saying “kill the doctor and I won’t kill you when this is all over.”
5. There’s literally no one else other than Queen and queen is wayyyy out of choppers league
