It's most surely only a temporary effect and certainely something that is reversed if she is knocked out or killed like Sugar, otherwise it would be too broken as a power.

If her fruit effects are permanent that'd make the effected pretty much immortal. In that case, her fruit is more deserving of the title "The Ultimate fruit" than Ope Ope no Mi given the ease at which it can grant pseudo-immortality.

Otherwise it would be a bit too broken.
