This Arc has definitely reached new heights, heights worthy of being in the top 10 imo it’s written like the late 2000s One Piece arcs like Sabaody,Impel Down & Marineford. Back when Oda had large cast of characters but the cast was high quality and he knew how to manage them, and the pacing wasn’t god awful. I’m curious what you guys think? And what arcs you have above it if it’s not Top 10 for you be brutally honest cause One Piece is ending soon
At the rate Odas going rn I think we’ve got maybe 4-6 more years to talk about this series. Remember in Sabaody - Marineford Oda filled those arcs with information and it was in a matter of 3 years

I think it is for the Shanks,Garp and Crossguild stuff alone.Vegapunk and the entire egghead incident is icing on the cake imo

An admiral fight, elevates it to those heights right away. But it's Kizaru, most people love Kizaru, it will go down as one of the best.

It's quickly climbed to top 3 for me especially cause of everything that happened outside of egg head island

The reveal of the gorosei all having df powers, seeing Garp in action, so many awesome events happened during this arc

And I was really enjoying the murder mystery thing going on I wished York would of killed a few more people before she was caught or seeing how they bought her down still chance for a flashback I guess

For Me my top 10 is

Skypeia on first read through wasn’t top 5, but on reread it aged so well:
1. The art direction is the best in the manga hands down
2. Enel as a villain is so great. I think people forget about how absolutely iconic and threatening he was every step to the point where some might genuinely believe he is a god.
3. The characters of the straw hats was in full force, every character is themselves and in the best way.
4. The constant flow of the arc. There’s very little pacing issues as fights and events are constantly happening. And the flashback merged with the plot so well and gave us more and more details on the ancient past.
5. By far the best ending to an arc. The ringing of the bell and the image of Luffy in the sky is phenomenal.

If you think it just had iconic moments I think you should reread because damn the entire arc is one of the absolute peaks of OP
