As I said on here recently, his haters love to talk about him more than his fans do, just like with Sanji for example, so we fans of Kidd appreciate them talking about him so much, keeping him rent free in their heads and thus alive and still relevant regardless of he's still alive or not, if he returns or not and thus his future in the story.

Genuinely I see far more hating on Kidd than those talking about him neutrally or being a fan of his. His haters are way more vocal, competing with the weird new Jika cult bandwagoners on Piratefolk. (Although some of their memes if not most are pretty damn funny imo but I am biased too ofc)
