Chapter Discussion Is Jarul's taste in women relevant?

can someone run the math on dr kureha and if shes older than him proportionally from human to giant years
Well, let's see here...

Giant ages aren't an exact science. But, they seem to age about 3 to 4 times slower than humans. The exact amount of difference may actually be caused by how "pure" a Giant's blood is. In other words, it may be different from Giant to Giant, depending on how much Human or other species blood they have in them.

For example, let's look at some other Giants ages. Dorry and Brogy are both 160 years old, making them either 53 or 40, depending on if they age 3 or 4 times slower. Gerd is 75, making her 25 or 18. Ripley is 80, making her 26 or 20. Road is 63, making him 21 or 15. Colon is 20, making him 6 or 5 (Although, he seems to be depicted as closer to 10 or 12, thus my point about ages varying from Giant to Giant).

Overall, I think this shows that Giants seem to age closer to 3 times slower, rather than 4 times slower. 4 times slower just makes a few of these characters seem a little too young, in comparison to how they're depicted in the story. 3 times slower seems to be more accurate.

Jarul is 408. Which assuming Giants age only 3 times slower, equals about 136 in human years. (For arguments' sake, 4 times slower would be 102).

Doctor Kureha is currently 141 (423 in Giant Years, assuming 3 times slower. 564, if we assume 4 times slower.).

So, yes. Doctor Kureha WOULD actually be older than Jarul, if she converted to Giant Years. She is still the oldest person on this planet...relatively speaking. Not counting Zunesha or Imu or the Gorosei, at least.

...I don't know if any of this matters. I'm not sure if Jarul ever got the chance to even MEET Doctor Kureha. And I do agree moreso with the idea that Jarul's comment is probably foreshadowing something with Imu. But, it is a interesting point.
