The problem with Killer's situation is that the SMILE revived a trauma (revealed by Kidd with a hint to his past) and was basically the drop that makes the vase overflow. He had already fought and lost against Kaido, was separated from Kidd and his crew then blackmailed to work under Kaido/Orochi as an assassin. He was exhausted.

Now he looks fresh, with the right weapons and most importantly he looks sharp. Just look at the difference in dialogues between Onigashima raid and the fight with Zoro. SMILE is still there, but he has all the rest back.

Never said that Killer is stronger than Zoro, what I say is that they are on the same tier with Zoro being a bit stronger (6 victories out of 10 fights, I'd say) and that Killer has been hugely underrated during these 2 years

Based on feats, Killer is below guys like X-Drake, Urogue and maybe Apoo, but if you're looking at portrayal, him and Kid, are meant to somewhat mirror Luffy and Zoro, so he will probably rise together with Zoro towards the end game.

As for others that could have been included:
- Marco and Jinbe are veterans from the previous era.
- Drake is secretly a marine.
- Apoo and Hawkins are on Kaido's side.
- Yamato isn't a pirate yet.
- Sanji and the other strawhats, no doubt have great significance going forward, but they dont really stand out like the Worst generation do, and I doubt they want to, considering that they aren't really concerned with climbing up the ladder.

Also, I think when Lady Toki mentioned 9 shadows she meant the Scabbards, I doubt other pirates will join in the fight. Either way, whether you think Killer is weaker than X character, by the end of the fight, he will be one of the 5 pirates leading the generation, excluding Blackbeard.

Zoro is not a bit stronger than Killer, he's much more stronger than Killer.

He is, because he had shown less feats compared to his captain. At least with Kidd, he shown some impressive stuff like dealing some damage to Apoo and fending off marines in Saobody. Let us not count the Pacifista fight in the anime as that is not canon.

He fought Zoro with different weapons and while suffering from the Smile's effects, so it is not really the best showcase of how strong he is.
