also I think Wano is ending in 20 chapters or so, unless Oda wants to split chapters between Luffy vs Kaido and Kid vs Big Mom the last 10 chapters or so of the raid are going to be mainly focused on Luffy vs Kaido

You seriously can't scale attack off of visual AoE. We have to look at effectiveness of attack.
Large mountain level attacks like King King Gun were completely ineffective against Kaido.

Same principle applies to Zoro, advCoC made Luffy hurt Kaido much more with a nameless punch than Dressrosa King Kong Gun would.
While Dressrosa ISDS and King Kong Gun won't even scratch kaido Ashura permanently scarred him.
