Alot points to Loki being the Ancient Weapon with the suggestive name. Most noteably, his bond with Poseidon. Neptun wanted to marry the two before Shirahoshi was even born. Somehow they became close through talking via Transponder Snail. Poseidon is born into the royal family of the Fishmen, the race closest to the sea. It makes sense for Uranus to be born into the royal family of the giants, the tallest race, closest to the sky. The Seakings mentioned a second sovereign, that is destined to meet Shirahoshi.

In addition, Loki has such terryfing eyes, that his mother threw him off a cliff.
He is able to summon lightning.
