Do you think Luffy is the most infamous pirate in one piece?

Does he command as much fear and respect as say someone like Kaido

Personally I think the answer is yes to both even pre time skip he was doing stuff most pirates wouldn't dream of doing and coming out of it alive and why wouldn't people fear/ respect the man who beat kaido

I know people will say but Luffy had help he didn't beat Kaido alone

In the op verse no one outside of Wano knows what really happened on Onigashima

And luffy did 99% of the work

According to legend, Buggy has faced Shanks and Whitebeard as an equal, fought Mihawk, and has now subdued the later, along with Crocodile, into being his subordinates.

Now he's also hurt the Marines more than anyone else with his genius marine bounty system.

He's the ultimate pirate.

Rationally thinking he has to be.....
Especially ppl on the higher up like Gorosei, Luffy would be their no.1 target.
They knew he's one of D family, that has been causing trouble for them since entering grand line.
Now they knew he's also Nika..... who recently beat a 4.6bill Yonko.
They hid most of the secret about him from the public probably that's why he was not as infamous as he supposed to be....

If it's realistic, they would take action already or straight out give him the baddest portrayal to the public
And here in Egghead still Bonney was more important in Saturn's head than Luffy who's just one feet away from him and especially while vulnerable
It's pretty BS....

Vegapunk and Bonney being more important than the man who defeated Kaido make perfect sense, unless you @Sasaki Kojirō the Koi boy :moonwalk:

Luffy has a really bad reputation to a point that even new red hair pirates are afraid of him. He is infamous in the sense that he is treated and has the reputation of a crazy dog that destroys everything in his path and is connected to some of the worst criminals in the world, including Buggy.

He should be almost equal to BB in this sense. BB is feared but is most among pirates, since he hunts DF users. Shanks has a good reputation so he is the less dangerous and infamous of the Yonkou.

But everyone is still below Buggy. The jester should be considered the new whitebeard for the general populace and most fodders.

So I would say that Buggy is the most infamous but Luffy is the most feared. Edit: thinking about it Luffy is the new Kaido and Buggy the new WB.
