Literally, every animanga that blows up gonna be compared to naruto, no matter what it is its just gonna be like: OH LOOK THIS IS BETTER THAN NARUTO,
Is naruto the standard for great animangas? Or they do it to get more interaction and attention?
also doesnt that basically makes naruto ( series ) the GOAT?

This imo. Anybody that I meet in school always using Naruto as a measurement for any anime and manga.

Well yeah, Naruto might not be the best selling manga, but it is the anime or manga that could capture your attention and make you an otaku, it the anime that made you discover a whole new culture for many people.

Its drawing of the manga is also very good.

Kamehameha from DBZ? Super Sayajin? Yeah, that is great, but can they run like a ninja? Do some toad summoning? Wear headbands? Rasengan?

Even if you havent seen Dbz or Naruto, you might be familiar to those things above.

What about One Piece lol? Gomu gomu no pistol? Luffy does not have a signature move or something people can really relate One Piece, except his hat which many have too.

So yeah, Naruto for many might be the standard even though never won in sales vs One Piece, it still was his rival when both were emited, and if it wasnt due the sales... then why? Maybe that is the answer.
