Controversial Is Oden Whitebeard's RHM?

There's a difference between RHM and strongest commander.
Roger, Shanks, Kidd and Luffy can't fodderize their RHM like Roger and WB did to Oden
- Rayleigh is called Dark King
- Beckman enjoys the same fame as Shanks in contrast to the other crewmembers
- Kid calls Killer his partner and built the crew with him
- Zoro and Luffy share the same partnership as Roger and Rayleigh did, they even get called partners and people have mistaken him for the captain often enough
The gap between RHM-Captain is almost not there while the strongest commander just means there's no one more powerful among the crew. Oden was WBs strongest commander at that time since the rest were basically kids. Still there was a huge ass gap between the two. WB also never intended to have a strong independend RHM as he has bad experience with the rocks and he feared his authority endangered

And Oden's stronger than Rayleigh and Marco, that's my point.
You can say that Rayleigh's the RHM because he's closest to Roger which is fine, but that disqualifies Zoro from being the RHM for Luffy, Usopp is blatantly closer to Luffy in relationship than Zolo is.

He was technically a crew member and technically not. He was more of a guest on the ship and considered like a little brother to whitebeard. For example you could say Law was a guest on Luffy's ship for a while.
If Oden stayed longer like decided to stay for good he would have eventually be considered FM. But WB knew better lol.
