In Enies Lobby, when the strawhats had to fend off the elite marine, sanji ran off
When sanji returned back, he said that he had "some business to attend to"
Enies Lobby is the world government three main infrastructure. Since we know Imu can put summon portal anywhere he wants, it makes sense to have summon portal in places like Enies Lobby.
We also know that Sanji only got his character development to trust Luffy only later in the WCI arc. That means at this point Sanji hadn't trusted Luffy fully. Also, what's interesting is that afterward since Enies Lobby, Sanji had shown some kind of demon transformation, similar to Domi Reverse
He also begged Zoro to kill him, in case he lost control of himself. This is weird since we know the other Germa siblings never lose consciousness when they act evil. Why would sanji think of "losing control" of himself.
What if what happened here was that back then in Enies Lobby, Sanji was trying to run away but then stumbled upon Imu (similar to how Wapol stumbled upon Imu in the Reverie). Sanji knelt down to Imu and made a contract with Imu to save his life. Then, Imu helped him to escape by closing the Enies Lobby gate. What do you guys think?
