That pirate getting whacked, with his face hidden by the lower left onomatopoeia, looks like a young Zeff. He would be about 29 years old during the God Valley Incident.
The youngest Zeff we ever see is him when he was 45 years old (chapter #0), and the panel doesn't make clear if he never heard of Shiki or if he's recollecting "past events". His moustache is black though (and it has no braids yet).
