Pretty much every single cover story has started in one arc and ended in another except for Jinbe’s and Bege’s, and those didn’t only because they occurred during the two longest arcs of the series in Dressrosa and Wano (the latter of which has run so long, we’re currently discussing its *second* side arc). Moreover, the majority of them go 30 installments or longer; the one attached to chapter 1051 is the 13th, so even giving you the benefit of the doubt, we’re not halfway through yet even as Wano is wrapping up.
