What people like is subjective.
I found SAO , Mushuko no Tensei world building good , so I said so. Different Games Different worlds , Mushuko no tensei got different Continents , different races and cultures. I prefer watching that stuff. I know one piece has a good world building but I would prefer Isekai World building.
I didn't even insult or downplay what OP had to say unlike you.
That's what you call an opinion.

For some reason people think that whacky, generic islands = world building. It's not.
Naruto's world building is far better because we know the relationship between countries and how geography of those villages affected a small village like hidden in the rain for their wars.

Meanwhile in one piece islands are randomly spread throughout the world, once you visit them, go to any direction for any amount of time to the other island

Also, the stupid shit how nobody in the blue seas know about haki nor devil fruits. That's so cheap. Even though they literally were watching and reading newspapers where a eartqake man fought a magma man during the biggest war.
Or how visiting pirates don't just show them magic powers like haki, they just obey the law of not showing haki to east blue fuckers.

Earlier one piecec definitely focused more on each place and built a story around it and its residents. It was an actual exploration manga... But it hasnt been doing well from a long time now...
Infact in water 7, anime added filllers with Aqua laguna which built on some World Building aspects..

Usually novels(WN/LN) have good world building, There is a web novel about 4th time reincarnation(Death mage something like that)....I used to read that WN, it has really good lore and world building We get lot of perspectives, character and their stories too. I saw it has a manga too now but its ok only for Novel readers as a summary type thing.

Most of them are better than One Piece, at least ones I have read.

Sure, One Piece has probably the most extensive worldbuilding out there... but in terms of depth it cannot really compare to say D.Gray Man. Basically, OP's worldbuilding isn't exactly integrated... which is just to be expected, considering the story was originally supposed to end after the Alabasta arc. Hence inconsistencies with powerscaling... Oda had been extending the story time and again. And I have to say, Oda's ability to do so goes to show how ridiculously good of an author he is. Nevertheless, it shows.

Seinen? Probably berserk and kingdom


Isekei and slice of life are much better genres at world building.

One punch man would've been really nice if it actually had a world and not a fucking town

Holy fuck almost forgot about magi, that shit is pretty in-depth and massive... many titties though

Hunter x Hunter has an actual ending? You mean that random possible ending Togashi told us about just in case he will be too busy playing Dragon Quest to finish his series?
