General & Others Is there too much Zoro focus in this arc?

Do you think all this Zoro focus is weird too?

I mean, this isn’t Zoro’s arc and yet he’s saving the princess, getting into ON SCREEN FINISHED fights with supernovas, getting sword and Haki power ups, getting lots of foreshadowing to his home village, getting into personal connections with Wano citizens like Yasu and getting into personal beefs with villains like Kyoshiro and Orochi with reasons separate from everyone else. Surely this should be about Luffy and everyone else just shares the rest of the time in the arc equally.

I think this is Odd how much focus Zoro is getting when this is clearly not an arc that should have more to do with him compared to the rest of the Strawhats at least. I mean this is Wano arc, the arc in the land of Swords and Swordsmen and Eastern Dragons and Shoguns and all that Japanese shit. I just can’t understand why there’s so much stuff with Zoro at least compared to Sanji and the others.

Nah its not
Were currently in a land of swordsman and zoro's obviously has ties to wano

Its like not expecting sanji to shine in an arc heavily surrounded by food and his family. Its the same shit.

And its not like zoro's gonna be the only strawhat having badass and/or important moments

The only "Zoro arc" in the entire series was the first one, where he got a 7 page flashback, and we still know shit about him. We know more about side characters like Law than we do about Zoro.

It was gonna happen eventually, but I still think it's funny how some people back on OJ thought that there would be too many characters involved in the arc for Zoro to get a decent amount of focus...turns out he and Luffy are the only ones with confirmed ways of harming Kaido and keep getting more Shimotsuki family members despite the SHs never stepping foot on his island :suresure:

It's not been too bad. I think the big issue is that none of the individual stories are told in the length I'd like'em to be. More Law/Sanji/Usopp/Robin/Franky in the capital and with the rebellion, Zoro learning about the history and lore of Wano, and Luffy focusing on the beast pirates.

Zoro wasn't in the Manga during WCI arc, while Luffy N Sanji got their share of panels, clashes n fights, with PUs in Wano they were more or less ready for their opponents..

Bt Zoro wasn't, in order to justify him making this big jump to King Calamity, Oda had to give him good no. of fights and he showed Zoro was struggling, then was given a PU in order to be able to fight King... While also setting his fight with Orochi with Yasu death and revealing the cruelty of Orochii to the village that was so kind to Zoro. Orochii feed wasted smile intentionally to the villagers and that really angered Zoro lot.

Since Wano appears to have linkage to Zoro history n past, Oda is giving him bigger bone here by setting the 2nd Antagonist Orochii for Zoro to finish..while Luffy is only focusing on Kaidou, instead of usual route where Luffy went arround town figuring out the town history n allies. It also helped to show more to Z character which fans were started to bash for being 1 D.

Zoro’s never been one dimensional though... Like even from East Blue he wasn’t... Do people Know what one dimensional means?
I also don't understand those complains, bt i heard many wanted to see other sides of Zoro character more besides simply fights.
Like some of faces and reactions Zoro made this arc, are rarely seen from Zoro. Zoro got good character focus this arc.
