Yes TB was Zoro own arc looking back at it. The nothing happened moment showing amazing leadership qualities and facing his descendant Ryuma this arc had everything you would want and more

OT:

Thriller Bark is peak Zoro, both in power narrative and characterization.

When Zoro takes Luffy's pain and the "Nothing Happened" moment happens, that bumps his stocks up a lot.

I also really like his fight against Ryuma, when Ryuma gives him Shusui, that's a pretty dope moment.

I'd say Water 7/Enies Lobby Zoro was his peak in terms of character, though the "Nothing Happened" moment was very impactful for his character, but just a moment nevertheless.

Thriller Bark was peak Zoro. The fight with Ryuma, the fight with Kuma, and nothing happened did more for Zoros character development than any other arc.

Strawhats vs Oars = Kaido vs Scabbards except that the Strawhats should fight Kaido instead.
Nightmare Luffy = G5 Luffy.
Zoro vs Ryuma = Zoro vs King.
Zoro getting Shusui = Zoro should have make Enma black after beating King.
Zoro taking Luffy's pain = Zoro indirectly outshines Luffy but it doesn't hurt Luffy's portrayal as he is still the one that finished off Oars, so in Wano, it would be Zoro killing Kaido after Luffy beats Kaido.
Zoro making a grave for Yubashiri = Zoro visiting Ryuma's grave.

Zoro never outshines luffy once in the series. Taking luffys pain doesn't mean he outshines luffy. It just means he had a cool moment. It's honestly overrated as fuck
