Nope, the "novelty" of Usopp is that he is somewhat a human character in a world of superhumans and he has humans fears etc. to weight in his ultimate behaviour yet when he keeps being in the same situation and do pretty much the same thing after each arc.. it is not that super character it could seem. Imo characters like WB or Ace are way more interesting with the choices they made through their lives.
