It kinda made sense
It wasnt about ages but they got Fame at similar time
I mean, lore wise it doesn't make sense.

Luffy got a 300 million bounty for beating a Warlord and dismantling his organisation, defeating the WG's top assassin, defeating CP9 and leading an assault on Enies Lobby which is a Top 3 WG base.

Kidd got 315 mil for being an asshole to civilians.

This would be like if the UN gave Jeffrey Dahmer a higher bounty than Osama bin Laden. Lol.

It didn't make sense in the least

Marco was getting fame for leading WB pirates and being grouped with Yonko
And since underlings like Zoro and Killer can be worstgen, why didn't Jack, Katakuri or any tobiroppo become worstgen?

It's just fuckass retarded concept of 100mil bounty ruined even more with BB's fatass being inserted for no reason

Blackbeard is part of the Worst Generation because he started making major plays at the same time as the other members of the Worst Generation. This is a manga aimed at children, how do you fail to grasp this.

What majors plays did Bege/Apoo/Zoro/Killer/Drake start making?

All of them did less than Marco who became leader of WB pirates
Drake at best became a mere toboroppo and Apoo not even a tobiroppo, and they probably got named wrostgen prior that
That shit is weaker than anything an average YC would do in that time

Marco didn't start making plays, he was already an established figure. Blackbeard made his move right around the same time that the other Worst Gen rose to infamy.

Oda never focused on the other Worst Gen's adventures but we know they basically went through the same shit the Straw Hats did.

Read the manga instead of trying to make me do it for you.

It's a mistake because the group makes no sense, like whatsoever
At first it was rookies with bounties over 100mil, which is random but fine
And then randomly Blackbeard was slapped with the supernovas for no reason whatsoever despite not ever been to sabaody at that time, which only raises questions why someone like Marco was not slapped onto the group as well.

Dumb group with dumb concept
Because Marco was already an established pirate with a bounty and reputation whereas BB was, as Moria put it, a complete unknown with zero bounty who popped up seemingly out of nowhere. You just can’t read.

On paper? No.

On execution? Yes.

The basic concept idea of other young rookie pirates besides Luffy that rival him in feats and power is good and all for world building and reducing tunnel vision on the MC

But in reality, Loda never cared about that so he ditched half of them then shoved the other half in a single shitty arc (Wano) to pretend he "cares".

None of them besides Law even got any actual proper character arc. Just screen filler.

Tl;dr: good idea, bad implementation
Bege was the best part of WCI

Anyway, I sure do like the concept of the Worst Gen, I just don't care much for the execution of said concept. I've said before that each character is actually a fine addition just not as a Captain. The Supernova crews should have been merged.
I keep saying that the Supernovas are not comparable to Luffy in the slightest for a reason. Lol.

Oda screwed himself over by having eleven Supernovas split across nine whole feckin crews.

Nine crews means nine subplots and dozens of characters to support those subplots, which is a lot of effort for a group of characters that Oda just added in for flavour at a point in the story where they were introduced far too late to even matter.

The Supernovas should have been condensed into four crews, one for each sea.

Luffy/Zoro/Straw Hats from East Blue.

Kidd/Killer/Bonney from South Blue.

Drake/Hawkins/Law from North Blue.

Bege/Apoo/Urouge from West Blue/Grand Line.

This would have made each crew far more manageable and more impressive. The other crews could even compete with the Straw Hats.

Instead, Oda has spread them out far too thin and has Zoro defeating Supernova captains that are supposed to be Luffy's rivals. Super Scrubs indeed. Lel.

Fatbeard was already an established warlord prior WrostGgen not to mention he sailed with wb for 30 years

Not to mention it just raised massive questions as to how there weren't any more """"""rookies"""" in the whole world that passed that arbitrary 100mil bounty or did something during that time

Because they weren’t Rookies?:Kanki_Wut:
Neither was BB who was not only in WB's ship for like 30 years but had already been a warlord prior

No, he wasn’t. BB became a warlord during Thriller Bark, the exact same time as when most of the supernovas were making their reputations. BB was a nobody with the WBP, his entire pirate legacy begins after murdering Thatch.

If anything it’s the opposite, most pirates in the Grand Line end up like Krieg.
