Hed just end up with the Wci crew same as before?
Thing you seem to not understand is oda likes drawing the sh's as underdogs and with jinbe there's no underdog in dressrosa and there wouldn't have even been a need to split up. Just like imaging yamato here the s series would have been worthless as yamato would have been using adcoc against them. Jinbe was to strong to join in wci and yamato is to strong to join now. Jinbe joining in wci completely changes how dressrosa played out. Yamato joining in wano would make the sh's the strongest crew around currently.

Neither are too strong to join. Just like oda had Franky and Robin fight people on par with Jinbes opponent, they’d fight people on par with Yamatos too.

The “too strong to join” argument doesn’t work since oda put Jinbes opponent comparable to the mid tier straw hats. Which is what he’d do for Yamato too.

@Robin swan
They are no longer underdogs. I mean, Luffy played with Lucci like a kitty. At the same time, I don't see Yamato being too strong. Even Luffy has to do his best against the Seraphims, and he's stronger than Yamato.

Oda is writing them like under dogs currently. Lucci was never a threat to do anything and it'd make no sense for him to go from being weaker than pts Luffy to stronger that a awakened advanced in all haki and much physically stronger Luffy Literally we have s series and they are a match for the sh's. Literally Zoro had to chase s hawk ashe thought it'd hurt the crew. Another yonko and this would never be a problem. The sh's are fractured currently and they are written as underdogs to kizaru, s series and Saturn being a serious threat to them. If the was say the red hair pirates the situation would be over before kizaru and Saturn even landed.

The point still is that the sh's would be to strong. On dressrosa the sh's would have slept their way through it with jinbe on the crew and never would have needed to split up. On egghead with yamato she would have clowned the s series and there wouldn't be any tension from kizaru and Saturn showing up as it's clear the sh's would clap them. yea yamato is to strong for the sh's to join as nothing would really threaten the sh's except for another yonko or the Marines sending multiple admirals and a large force.

It feels like until Oda won't make a PowerPoint presentation explaining that the purpose of yamato was to bait the readers and to spice up the second half of Wano by doing so some people will never let go. She spent 99% of her time (which is around two years of serialization) around Momo and barely even talked to anyone in the crew, literally. Oda never meat for her to be a SH and he didn't write her like one.
