He just gets stronger
We have confirmation by 40 he masters 4 sword style and by 60 5 swords style

60 year old zoro with 15 sword style asura

He will have Tashigi wanting those rematches not for his WSS title but for his Wado. Eventually Tashigi will get tired of fighting Zoro and admits she likes spending time with him as each duel comes and goes. Then Zoro let's Tashigi hold Wado where there a ring on it.

So nah Zoro won't be bored or depress because he will have his family to take care of and eventually a Dojo to unhold.
