And Zoro only commented on him getting hit...He says he got hit because of his lack of skill... He never addressed him passing out... The only clue to why he passed out is lterally in the panel of him passing out... His stomach gurgles

Moe-kun that's VIZ thats the official translation -- all other eng translations is not as accurate.

BTW in the japanese translation the speech bubble coming from Zoro stomach is : ぐぎゅる same as chapter 855 : ぐぎゅるるる!!! where Luffy is on his hunger strike and Sanji feeds him.

He even states before the fight that he would like food.
