The Red Hair Pirates don't get any focus after East Blue and it's obvious that the live action most likely won't go beyond season 2, so because of that Oda and the Netflix staff probably didn't care who they cast as Ben Beckman for the live action.
Shanks crew got done dirty, i don´t understand why netflix has this boner of changing character designs to cast actors who look NOTHING like the characters.
