his FS feats indicate that his haki is on a similar level as Kata's, meaning that he'll be able to easily dodge and land hits on kata. In addition now that he has ACoA, his base punches are extremely powerful and lethal. His CoA is way above Kata's level and any hit kata lands on Luffy won't be doing that much damage whereas Luffy's punches will be able to hurt Kata's internal organs.

also we know that Luffy has been training G4 and hence likely will have his G4 be upgraded

No. The entire narrative since Punk Hazard has been about taking down Kaido. This has only been reinforced in the arc itself- Big Mom has next to nothing to do with the people of Wano, or the Kozuki's. The Wano arc is for restoring the Kozuki's and taking down the monster that's been ruling over them for the last twenty years. That's what Luffy has been training for. That's what he's built an alliance for. It would make no sense to have Luffy training, have him promising to defeat Kaido for Momo... then have a random swap where Kidd becomes the hero that saves Wano from Kaido while Luffy batters someone who has nothing to do with the place.

Big Mom's story isn't done until Elbaf.

Kaido is going down to Kidd and luffy. (Both have to take revenge...both are CoC users, we know since DR, CoC users are the ones fighting the main fights.)

At last, Kidd and Luffy battle it out prior raftel just like Roger vs Shiki happened a year prior Roger becoming PK.
Roger was lucky that a storm saved him , Luffy will win without relying on the storm luck.
