cool. I haven't read Boku no Hero yet, but this is all ok, since most of the shonen MC are pretty similar and I bet many people are really tired of this formula. Luffy is actually the one I don't mind. I like him, to be honest. My worst 3 I believe are: Meliodas, Ichigo and Seiya.
Naruto and DBZ get an honorable mention for having the worst anti hero sidekick ever. I just hate Sasuke and Vegeta is boring

Luffys fine. The problem comes from the fact that so much of one piece lately has been about the fights. With sprinkles of what the other straw hats can do.

“I can beat you.”
For so long we’ve focused so heavily on “I can beat you” it’s made it feel like Luffy now does everything. I’m glad we’ve gotten other things sprinkled in tho:

Usopp lying so much through Dressrosa he became God and established the fleet.
But again the manga has become so focused on Luffy just beating enemies and what he can do, it’s hard to remember there are things luffy just can’t do.
