1) Theres never been a case where a utility/weapon has been broken because the user's haki is too strong so theres no precedent for this to happen.
2) The inverse actually has an example. Kaido's club is an ugraded weapon meaning some of the strongest characters could use less suitable weapons and be perfectly fine.
3) The sandai is still a famed blade and has withstood clashes with some of the strongest characters in the earth (kaido, Gandhi). if the only reason you want it to break is to upgrade to a higher grade weapon, that is in my opinion pointless. swords are as strong as the users are.

its more than likely the weapon You use is as strong as the haki of the user using it e.g vergo using a bamboo stick which should be quite brittle , as a weapon.

its the reverse
it seems supreme grades require people of a certain calibre to wield them . a top tier will still be a top tier with a fodder blade. in essence zoro with sandai should be as strong as zoro with enma

Tbh the databook kinda states that Hassakai & Murakumogiri are tough enough to withstand the full powers of Kaido & WB.

Zoro had to sheath Sandai back against Zombie Ryuma and Shusui or it would have broke..

You know what Mihawk said doesn't negate anything. He's referring to the instance he broke Zoro's blades, meaning the attack was strong enough to shatter blades of a lower quality.

Doesn't mean a lesser sword wouldn't break in a completely different scenario, in this case an immense amount of haki being poured into it, whilst clashing with another haki clad weapon in insane haki.

However, you would THINK if it was gonna break it or get damaged, it would have against the combined sovereignty attack Big mom and Kaido did. If it actually shatters to Lokis attack it means the force of Zoro and Loki's clash surmounted the pressure the combined hakai attack accumulated while Zoro was blocking it.

And I 100% agree with him the sword will break


but what if I say it’s because zoro haki/power the sandai kitetsu will break ? Let’s look at what whitebeard blade databook

this tells us whitebeard blade is super strong that it’s capable channelling whitebeard top tier haki with his insane devil fruit in the same time.

my theory is that zoro will unleash crazy amount of haki that his sword won’t be able to channel so it will break.

Don't have to be just Zoros haki

Can be the result of him not holding back and pouring an immense amount of haki, combined with the force of clashing with Ragnir + Loki's haki.

No such thing as Haki so strong it breaks or Koby’s fists would be crumbling.

This idea is against canon. Bamboo can be hardened harder than steel by Haki.
