Amaterasu would definitely be very slow if Doflamingo had prior knowledge of it but his CoO isn’t refined enough to the point where he can see what it does. He’s not gonna escape the LOS before it lands. At best he can try blocking it with strings but that gives Itachi a window of time to do another move as well.

Raikage doesn't even have CoO and he dodged it despite no prior knowledge iirc. Doflamingo will have zero issues with amaterasu. It's a non factor.

Raikage anticipated and dodged Ama before it launched lmao. The whole point of that panel is Ama spawning on Raikage's afterimage showcasing his speed.

I'll have to reread it then because iirc Raikage had some knowledge about the ability or sensed the chakra buildup in Sasuke's eye.

It's only a traveling projectile if the person can dodge the LOS. If he's in there then it spawns on him. It wrks out like a portal that instantly sends something out but the portal takes time to spawn.
