Character Discussion Ivankov the Conqueror

#44
No one was scared of Ivankov in Marineford. Ivankov at best is like Marco, Jozu or Vista.

Remember, all the Admirals and even Mihawk were shocked by Luffy having Conqueror Haki.
Yeah but it was mainly because they didn't expect him to have it at this young age, besides MF is the worst arc for powerscaling, it is all over the place with characters being as strong or as weak as the moment requires it.

No it wasn't because of that at all. You can unlock CoC at 8 years old. Luffy was 17 and had a 300 million berry bounty. Whitebeard, the Admirals and the Warlords took note of it.

When he showed CoC, people either compared him:

(1) Dragon (by Iva)
(2) Whitebeard and Shanks (by Whitebeard's crew)

Can we stop with this clown shit? CoC is for the elite of the elite. Every CoC user in their prime is either Top Tier or near Top Tier.

All of Marineford was shocked when Luffy had CoC

Iva is a strong guy, but nowhere near the level to justify CoC.
Every Conqueror's Haki user is either a World Power, World Power's right/left hand, or some kind of legend.
Iva is the left hand of Dragon, the man who wishes to take on Imu himself. A man who is directly in conflict with the holy knights, a force that requires CoC to be defeated.

There’s tbh no reason he shouldn’t have it when Gaban has it and Sanji is very clearly set up to awaken it.

Left of Dragon doesn't mean shit.

I'm not even sure Kuma has it and if he doesn't Iva clearly doesnt. Kuma was a literal king.

That's what I meant actually, it was the strength of it that surprised them and ''scared'' them of what it would become if he lives long enough and masters it.

So is Ivankov, King/Queen of Okama.

I really don't get why it is so surprising! Isn't a conqueror someone who inspires others and makes them follow him ? (Like Luffy)
It would be more surprising if an admiral has it tbh; not that it is not expected but less likely than Ivankov who has followers everywhere who follow him because he inspires them.

Kuma should be worthy of it too. He is the “hand of liberation”, a literal king and warlord, and he survived his own lobotomy in order to save Bonney.

Maybe he can’t use it now because of what Vegapunk did to his mind, but if VP somehow fixes him, there’s tbh no reason why he shouldn’t be a conqueror.

Again, the revolutionaries are basically like the scabbards of the final war. They’re not to be compared to characters like the old yonko commanders.

Iva being a conqueror isn't so surprising
