Is it just me or was the defeat of Jack pretty underwhelming. I'm glad Inuarashi took him down (as a callback to Zou), but to mirror Perospero's takedown seemed kind of rushed to me. Perospero had his time; as he was present in Whole Cake as a major antagonist, killed Pedro, and was important in Wano. To have a somewhat rushed defeat by the hands of Neko made total sense. However Jack on the other hand seemed to have way more build up that just never got capitalized on. The biggest to me was the setup that he was potentially a Fishman at the end of Zou, which never got touched on again (to my knowledge).
Again, I thought the context of the fight was perfect, however I would've liked to see a little bit more development rather than 90% of the fight being offscreened.
All in all I would've liked to see more of Jack especially as he was portrayed on a similar level to King and Queen, I get that this Act has been going for a while and to avoid pacing issues not every character will get their utmost time to shine, but this one just stuck with me.
