Sukuna would demolish Yuji in a domain clash. Malevolent Shrine is far more refined than Yuji's domain, that's obvious as hell. And no matter what, Sukuna still has the option to attack the barrier of Yuji's DE. (Unless he somehow makes a barrier-less DE which would be absolutely retarded, even if Gege uses the "but experience from Sukuna" bs)
I mean, yeah he's exhausted but that doesn't remove the fact that his domain is more polished and refined (unless he pulls out an incomplete MS which should still he more polished than the literal first domain of a sorcerer).
And, as I said, there's still the attacking the barrier thingy. I doubt Yuji's first DE is large enough to have it's boundaries outside Sukuna's DE range.

Wouldn't be the first inconsistency we got in the Culling Games. Gege could always write it as "Yuji secretly swapped with XYZ" or just have the fans read into it as Yuji being talented enough to succeed with an Open Domain on his first 2-3 tries (which tbh would be consistent with Yuji's talent throughout the series, the dude got his current skills in less than 10 months)
