Because the less Sukuna showed in the fight with Gojo, the better off he would be.

They explained this in chapter 234 and I don’t understand why people ignore it.

Scenario where Gojo wins: Gojo can rest while everyone else goes and gangbangs Kenjaku

Scenario where Sukuna wins: Sukuna has to fight everyone else with low CE and RCT

Sukuna’s win con was winning against Gojo while using as little as possible

And how that worked?

If he was holding back then he could have killed Gojo way faster and wouldn't be in current situation without RTC, low output etc.

Also, with Yuta handling the shadows Gojo wouldn't even need purple to beat Sukuna as he was doing previously.

I even wonder if asking the comedy guy to handle Sukuna first wouldn't be the best option.

I’m still waiting for Yuta to use domain amplification to mitigate damage from the slashes.

And you can use domain amplification and expansion at the same time (as Sukuna showed) so I’m waiting for Yuta to prove he’s on Higuruma’s level in Jujutsu talent

There is zero question that it was abandoned. It was used ONCE around chapter 12 or so, and then completely discarded.
Not a single statement after that, comparing characters to "x Sukuna fingers".

And if the manga goes at the same rate, we might legit end the entire manga with the only "x Sukuna finger" statement ever said being that Jogo statement, somewhere early in the manga.

So you think Jogo is worth 8 fingers despite having less CE efficiency and skill than Sukuna ?

Mangakas don't start the manga with the entire fixed powersystem in their mind, they have ideas which they then develop as they serialize more.

So then how many fingers of CE does Jogo really have then to make up for that and be worth 8 according to you? Like 12-15
