Since a few days I have another theory about one piece. This time about Joyboy, or more about Luffy resulting into what is known as Joyboy.
First of all, I guess it is no doubt Zunisha connects Joyboy with Luffys awakaning.
Second, there is a theory about Luffys fruit being actually a Resin No Mi. Which kinda sounds legit.
Now to my Theory:
I think to awaken the Resin No Mi it is required to have the blood of both big families, the celestrial dragons and the Ds. The natural enemies.
-The resin could symbolize the resin of the DF tree, which could mean he has kind of impact in awakaning on other Devil Fruits, which explains why the fruit is that incredible overpowered then.
This could also explain why the CD and D are so strongly separated and called natural enemies, because Imu feared they could mix and create the awakaning again.
This would naturally mean Luffy is a combination of both bloodlines, but it makes sense. I assume Dragon being a former Admiral and one of my oldest theories is, Dragons wife is a CD, he impregnated her, she got locked away by her family, so Imu doesn’t get to know and Dragon got the most criminal man of the world. And dragons main goal is to free his wife from her vessels. This is why Luffy was hidden at some bandits like the son of Gol D. Roger himself.
i also think this is the reason why roger knew he won’t be the one changing the world, because he isn’t a mix of both bloodlines. But maybe he knew about dragons love to a CD, through garp? Whatever, he knew he wouldn’t be the one.
But one more thing… I also think there is another one with mixed bloods. A man wanting to be pirate king and getting aknowledged for having an abnormal body. Yes, I think Blackbeard is also mixed blood, which makes it possible for him to have two DFs. I guess his family got killed because of this and he wants to take revenge for his family, just because he is mixed. And so he also wants to know the history about the slaughter.
Tl;dr:
- CD and D mixed is required for Luffys Fruit (Resin No Mi) to awaken
- Luffys mother is CD, Dragon a D
- Blackbeard is also mixed
