Those two are not related lol. What Choso and Kusakabe were talking about and purely speculating is that Gojo got the idea to shrink the size of his domain thanks to being locked up in the Prison Realm.

Dude basically learned by himself how to counter the most haxed/refined CT ever in the entire history (barrierless domains) and trained himself to master it properly in just a few weeks, how is that downplaying him? That's just insane.

Gojo didn't even know Sukuna has an open barrier domain. No one told him from the looks of it. He came up with a solution on the spot and pulled it off cuz he's Gojo Satoru.

Of course I am talking about Satoru's infinity, as it's the only one revealed and confirmed that it's automatic and he can run it passively. None of the other Gojo clan members and 6 eyes + limitless users have been said to be able to do that. They don't scale to Satoru. Sukuna would be able to beat them with just his domain, because it's heavily implied the previous users had no domain of their own.

Remove either his awakening, his 6th eye or his Einstein battle IQ and Gojo would have been folded during Sukuna's first DE.

When I caught up to JJK 3 years ago, I said Gojo>Heian Era Sukuna, but if they were to fight in the manga it would make more sense for Sukuna to somehow win, using Megumi, 10S, outside interference, etc, and lo and behold, 3/4 so far, and Sukuna might not even win lol. I was met with posts by Sukuna br0s saying 15 finger Sukuna negs, Heian era Sukuna washes etc. It's just Sukuna br0s who have starting adopting different agendas and adapting like Mahoraga lol instead of admitting the L.

But yeah Sukuna has no counter to focused infinity like Satoru's bar DA, DE and Mahoraga. The first two are useless against Satoru which is why he is relying on Mahoraga. Against other six eyes users chances are he'd likely win with his domain alone.

What @ConquistadoR and I were saying is that Sukuna has no counter to Satoru's infinity and has to rely on Mahoraga to do the heavy lifting. I don't see either of us saying infinity alone beats Sukuna. I have said multiple times now that Sukuna would likely beat the previous 6 eyes and limitless users with his domain alone.

This means (unfortunately) any other cool abilities Sukuna may have are pretty much useless

It’s just punch - punch - punch - wheel - etc

It isn’t a clash between 2 powerful characters with cool techniques that interact in interesting ways

It’s a weird brawl where one fighter has a broken technique and the other fighter basically doesn’t have a technique

Look, 10S users can bypass it thanks to Makora's adaptation.

Gege could have just given Sukuna another way to bypass it with some hax or else, like his hidden CT or his cursed tools.

After all Toji with absolutely no CE or CT almost killed Gojo with a mere cursed sword.

Gege isn't stupid and is a pretty good writter overall. He introduced Sukuna with 3 f*cking godly cursed tool, but chose not to use them.
