Though I really do wonder how they’ll beat Sukuna without him
Best case scenario let’s say Kenjaku is dead here
Hakari is fighting Uraume right now
That leaves Takaba, Yuta, Maki, Higuruma, Yuji, Kusakabe, and Mei Mei
If they’re lucky they get Angel too
The only way I see them pulling a W is with Takaba’s toon force
I don’t think anything else is enough especially if he still has his domain

He "died" - or in other words, he had his wish fulfilled and is no longer interested in participating in any of it as we see him in funeral clothes lying down and chilling.
That's Gege's lazy way of not having him interact with Sukuna because:
a) Takaba's imagination would negate everything Sukuna throws at him
or
b) Sukuna would pull out another adaptation out of his ass and kill Takaba mid joke
Gege would have to sacrifice one of his bad writing decisions
