Jujutsu Kiasen 233 SPOILERS

Fraudjo fans thinking that Post prison realm Gojo defeating Heian Era Sukuna Is a W when Pre-prison realm Gojo would have get destroyed with the domain clashes.

I will not partake in the agenda war and only give my opinion on the way Gege is dealing with Gojo.

I personally thinks that it is grandiose.
Gojo was/is dubbed as the strongest guy around. He even said, irc, that he could beat 20 fingers sukuna. Then thoughout the story the author as shown time and time again that his title was not just words.

At face value:

-The antagonists systematically have to find a way to keep him away (barriers, human shields, curse prison)
-He destroyed without any difficulty someone that the MC has to jump with Todo to stand a chance against
-Several antagonists and protagonists saying how strong he is
-His powers are explained and are shown to be super hax
-The character is describe to be an extraordinary human being who succeed at anything he tried

In insight :

-Toji’s defeat through the lense of Maki power show how Gojo power’s awakening was massive
-The performance of the magma head in Shibuya when you see how Gojo manhandled him in previous arc, is a testament of Gojo’s strength

With all that established how to make this man lose (because I do think that Gojo will lose or be seriously wounded to the point that he will not be relevant anymore plotwise) in a convincing and satisfying way? Just read this fight.

No PIS, no CIS, no plot convenience, no offpaneled. The character is using everything in his arsenal in an intelligent and coherent way. This way the lore, the character strength and status in the world, and the readers are respected.

To make a comparison with One Piece, Gege is succeeding with Gojo what Oda failed to do with Kaido.

GG Gege:cheers:

He has all those Cursed Techniques even now.
Where? Cause I don't see them....

Sukuna doesn't have Toji's cursed spirit in which he can store and hide cursed tools.

So until proven otherwise he lost them 1000 years ago when he turned himself in a cursed object.

They must be stored/hidden somewhere, maybe (probably) by Tengen himself.

In this case the only way for Sukuna to get them back would be Kenjaku.

Not every Cursed Tool can cancel Cursed Techniques, in other words not every Cursed Tool is an Inverted Spear of Heaven or Black Rope.
Ofc. But do you think the King of curses would use random mid level cursed weapons?

Do you think Gege designed them based on the most powerful god-level weapon in the (Hindu) universe for no reasons?

Think my brother.

Think.

By this same argument you could argue he’s failing at Sukuna since 1) were not seeing everything he can do and 2) he was literally called the strongest sorcerer in history.

How, by your own logic, is it not disrespectful to readers to not show the full abilities of Sukuna?

I said Cursed Techniques, not Tools.

Remember the Ganesha Spirit which Yuki One-Shotted?
That was also a Hindu God reference lol.

It can very well be a throwaway reference too.

I still think Toji's power were retconned
Nah even in Shibuya it was 100% obvious that he nukes Disaster Curses.

People like @EmperorKinyagi were just acting retarded, saying Mahito/Jogo one-shots Toji.
Portrayal wise, Toji was always Special Grade category.

The fight is not over. I think that what will give Sukuna the edge in this 3 vs 1 is using the rest of his arsenal.

I still don't think he beats Jogo unless he has ISOH btw.
:rolaugh:

Playful Cloud is enough.
Toji low diffs the Disasters (Mahito being the only exception).

Dagon couldn't even land a single hit on Toji despite being in his Domain and using his Sure Hit btw.
Maki after Toji low diff'd Dagon - "He really did Exorcise it all by himself..."

The Disasters are generally close in strength. Curse Naoya is comparable to them too & look at what happened against a Demonic Fighter equal to Toji Zenin.
